Ensure yourself that Fear and Temptation doesn't get involved in any act that you do.
In your career, Fear of failure and Temptation for success diverts you from concentrating on the work-to-do.
Fear of being punished for the mistakes committed in past and Temptation for fulfillment of desires in Future had been the tools of religion fanatics since ages to manipulate the masses. Beware of such acts. No religion says that GOD punishes a person for mistakes that he had committed. (I am not referring to the degraded principles in any religion that exists today but am referring to the original principles that was, when so called religion is formed for introducing the concept of GOD to masess for betterment of society) No one exist to punish you, except your self. Thought is powerful. Fear for mistakes committed in past makes you guilty. Guilt is the only sin, if it ever exists. Guilt makes you uncomfortable and naturally seeks a way to get out of it. In the process, to satisy your ego, you'll involve in some charity related activities or become captives of religion fanatics, doing whatever they ask you to do, not knowing what it really meant. "Past is past. Nothing can change it. Keeping this simple fact in mind, if ever one accepts the mistakes commmitted in past and takes a resolution to not repeat the mistake hereafter, there ends the formation of guilt. This is all one really needs to do."
Temptation for fulfillment of desires in future makes you involved in foolish things. I, myself after my graduation, had an agreement with GOD that if ever i get a job i'll offer HIM my first salary (its a one side agreement :-)). Temptation for job made me to even bribe GOD. This is just an instance in my life. I had such agreements with HIM in many phases of my life. But fortunately, not NOW anymore. Imagine the consequences, if u bribe your Mother to make your favourite curry. Mother definately feels odd, perhaps laughs and forgives your ignorance in lack of understanding her LOVE for you and ofcourse, makes your favourite curry. Mother does everthing for you out of love without expectations. So is GOD. Mother knows what is good for you. If you ask her to make an icecream for you in cold winter. She denies because she knows that its not good for your health, So is GOD. GOD knows what to give and what not to give to each indivdual. So temptation for future is utter foolishness.
Dear Friend, fear for past and temptation for future marks your absence in PRESENT and diverts you from doership. Simply avoid Fear and temptation. Thereafter, you will experience the beauty of living in PRESENT.

Truth And Fact
I was goin through Sadhana by Rabindranath Tagore. I feel, every Indian should read the book. It constitutes of series of papers read before the Harvard University. Its all about Indian Culture and the way of Indian living. I can definately say, most of us even don't knew that such is our great culture. Even if some of us knew, we just boost ourselves boasting about the greatness of our culture, instead of living in it. I believe an ounce of experience is far better than loads of knowledge.
My soul enjoys reading Tagore literature, mysterious is the cause of its joy. Expressing a thought in least possible words, which conveys meaning to even a lay man with pinch of language is his own art.
Below is an excerpt from Sadhana by Tagore on Truth and Fact:
"Facts are many, but the truth is one. The animal intelligence knows facts, the human mind has power to apprehend truth. The apple falls from the tree, the rain descends upon the earth--you can go on burdening your memory with such facts and never come to an end. But once you get hold of the law of gravitation you can dispense with the necessity of collecting facts _ad infinitum_. You have got at one truth which governs numberless facts. This discovery of truth is pure joy to man--it is a liberation of his mind. For, a mere fact is like a blind lane, it leads only to itself--it has no beyond. But a truth opens up a whole horizon, it leads us to the infinite. That is the reason why, when a man like Darwin discovers some simple general truth about Biology, it does not stop there, but like a lamp shedding its light far beyond the object for which it was lighted, it illumines the whole region of human life and thought, transcending its original purpose. Thus we find that truth, while investing all facts, is not a mere aggregate of facts--it surpasses them on all sides and points to the infinite reality."
My heart feels to draw an anology on truth and fact following the path of Tagore. All religions preaches only one TRUTH that GOD is one, yet we have so many idols to worship. Each idol is a fact. Facts are numerous, so are the idols. Worship Idol of your choice, remembering the truth that GOD is one and the idol is the symbolisation of Man's thought about GOD, who resides in each and every creature's HEART. Mere acceptance of this truth can transform an individual character and brings an end to the fight between masses on the name of religion in a false impression of protecting the sanctity of the religion.
Dear Friend, aim always at the truth, by collecting the facts through your daily experiences. Please don't waste your time and energy in mere collection of facts, throughout your life. Try to stretch beyond the facts and attain the truth.

Thought
From my childhood, a thought used to pinch me now and then, probing me to find out why thoughts arise ? Being a shy natured, didn't dared to ask anyone, unaware of its validity in context of society.
Atlast, i gained some knowledge on it :
Our mind has descended from the original mind, the divine mind. It has come out of it. As it is associated with the divine mind, it will not permit any dirt or uncleanliness to be taken into itself and keeps throwing them off. That which is thrown out comes to our experience as thoughts arising in us.
