Sometimes...i love you

My father says, i am an excellent observer. I observe myself consistently, to improve myself. If there is nothing there to observe, then i confirm myself that life is becoming stagnant and try to mould either myself or the circumstances.

At all times, i feel an invisible helping hand, throughout my life. Though, mixed are my emotions towards my friend, same is the response, i recieve at all times from my friend.

This weekend, strangely, i tried to look into past. Though not productive, this thought lead me to pen down my mixed emotions towards my friend. I don't knew what it should be called as. May be it's a poem or a short essay. I just pen down it because i have to.

O' My Friend,
Sometimes i smile at you
Sometimes i admire you
Sometimes i complain to you
Sometimes i scold you
Sometimes i pray to you
Sometimes i thank you
Sometimes i agree with you
Sometimes i disagree with you
Sometimes i dream about you
Someimes i have faith in you
Someimes i believe you
Sometimes i trust you
Sometimes i doubt you
Sometimes i even bribe you
Sometimes i forget myself looking at you
Sometimes i read about you
Sometimes i think about you
Sometimes i remember you
Sometimes i follow you
Sometimes, within myself i try to experience you

Precious are the circumstances, which leads me towards you

I pen down these feelings,
not because i expect something from you
just because simply i love you.

Get and Become

Am always mismerized by these two words - GET and BECOME.

If understood properly, and put into practice, i feel it has the potential to transform one's view about a particular situation or strategy. If you happened to read interview of anyone who is at top ladder of any domain, whether its engineering, sports, medical, enterntainment, when they were asked about their secret of success, they say that it was their passion to become so and so. In recent blockbuster movie, 3 idiots, Amir khan's character beautifully highlights - "Learn something, so that you become something in future, but not to just get highly salaried job".

I feel its better to do job not just for sake of salary but to become something, so that it shapes your future. To frame this idea in real life, let me take an instance of software field, as i am part of it. If you are interested in techinical area, do your job, well.. to become a technical architect. If you are interested in Management, do your job, to become a Project Manager or any designation higher than you are, at present. Have a vision infront of you. Constantly strive to achieve it. In doin so, you shape your future. As you become fit technically, opportunties welcome you and magically, you will be payed more than your expectation :-). But if you stick yourself to carry-on your work being salary-minded, you restrict your development by yourself, you restrict your hidden talents to be exposed.

No doubt, everyone does job to grow financially. But financial growth, should not be your aim. Financial growth is the reward you get in this material world, in process of transforming yourself to become something ahead. Remember, knowledge, experience, wisdom can't be stolen by anyone, whereas , god forbid, your financial status can be curbed down in no-time. So, i feel, it is wise to concentrate to become something, rather than to get something.

Dear Friend, "We must have only one aim in life, not to get but to become".
