Pain

Why me? Oh no! I don't believe it's happening to me ! Such situations makes one ponder over the reason behind the situation.

One way to think is - Am I undergoing the situation because of my past deeds? Is it my destiny? Can't I chose my own destiny? Am I forced to undergo it ? Is there someway to bypass it ?

One can also think as - is this pain teaching something to me? is it popping up an alarm to alert me about something which I ignored to appreciate?

Interestingly Can it be tagged as "My Pain" or "Pain"? is the underlying reason behind pain of each and everyone of us has something in common? I think one feel pain when something goes NOT as expected. Pain may differ in weightage but underlying reason is the same - "Expections NOT met"

So, what do we do in such situations? We have to look beyond the pain! Ask yourself - What is this pain teaching me? What should I learn from it? What should I correct within myself? is it demanding physiological changes or psychological changes ? What changes need to be adapted in my daily routine? Unless we look beyond pain and rectify, it doesn't leave us. Pain is a strict teacher who doesn't loosen the grip of backbenchers! Best way is to acknowledge, introspect, learn from it and move ahead!

How does one gets the strength to look beyond pain while undergoing it? Being centered! Being connected with oneSELF! Shifting focus within! - these are the ways in which one can gain strength from his own SELF.

How to be centered? Meditate! - that's the one word answer. Does that mean Meditation prevents pain? May NOT be totally correct! Vitally, it gives us the strength for having correct thinking and right understanding. With Meditative mood, one can be centered to look beyond the pain and grasp the teaching!

What are you waiting for ? Just Meditate!
